Austin, TX, February 1, 2018 - The State Bar of South Dakota and San Fernando Valley Bar Association introduced their newest member benefit with the addition of LawPay. For more than a decade, LawPay has been the industry leader in legal payments, providing law firms a simple online solution for accepting credit cards in their practice. LawPay is an approved Member Benefit of 47 state bars and more than 70 local and specialty bars.

The LawPay partnership will provide State Bar of South Dakota and San Fernando Valley Bar Association members with a simple solution for accepting online payment in their firms, as well as personal account management, dedicated in-house client support, and PCI compliance at no additional cost.

LawPay was developed with input from the ABA and bar association partners and their ethics committees to ensure trust accounting compliance through the separation of earned and unearned fees. LawPay eliminates the risk of commingling attorney and client funds, and ensures protection of IOLTA accounts from any third party debiting.

Attorneys who sign up for a new LawPay account through the SBSD and the SFVBA will have their monthly fee waived for the first three months.
