Today’s political climate is shaping everyday decisions, and as attorneys, we have a responsibility to be aware of and consider the differing views in today’s political landscape. This one-hour course will cover key issues to keep in mind when working in the legal space and litigating in a divided nation. From accepting the effects of cultural changes on communities to recognizing the nature and sources of worldview influencing judgment, we’ll discuss:

  • Creating mutual understanding with your clients and properly framing -issues

  • Ways to help heal our communities

  • Understanding the danger of false consensus

  • Understanding the legal environment of your own practice
