LawPay's 2021 ALA Annual Conference & Expo Recap
As the exclusive payment processing provider for ALA’s VIP Business Partner Program, LawPay is always honored to take part in the ALA Annual Conference & Expo. This year’s conference was particularly significant as we not only returned to an in-person event but also played host in our hometown of Austin, Texas.
Over four days of compelling programming, with sessions tailored to legal management professionals at every level and expertise, LawPay team members hosted a number of breakout sessions as well as a special off-site ALA event, and more.
Here are just a few of our favorite highlights from this year's event.
LawPay Exhibition Booth and Giveaway
During the conference, LawPay team members debuted our brand new interactive booth. More than 300 attendees who visited during exhibition hours were given the opportunity to learn more about LawPay from Melissa Chambers, VP of Enterprise Solutions in Corporate Sales.
Attendees also had the opportunity to enter a special LawPay giveaway at this year’s ALA Annual Conference & Expo. Among 200 entrants, our lucky winner, Tracey Skjeveland from Merchant & Gould, took home a limited-edition LawPay YETI cooler filled with Austin-themed goodies.
LawPay Presentations
LawPay’s Jordan Turk and Claude E. Ducloux hosted three breakout sessions during the ALA Annual Conference, discussing the latest legal trends and best practices.

LawPay Event at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden
This year, LawPay hosted an exclusive ALA networking event at Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden on Rainey Street in Austin. Whether they arrived by foot or caught a ride in one of our LawPay-branded pedicabs, over 200 conference attendees enjoyed a Texas-themed evening featuring live music, food, drinks, and fun. Event-goers were also treated to custom swag and our very own LawPay pints.
We can’t wait to see what ALA 2022 has in store for us next year!
